After the massive success of “ABO Desire”, China’s groundbreaking Omegaverse BL series that redefined the genre, Thailand is now ready with “Knot” to tie its own destiny into the world of Alpha, Beta, and Omega.
On October 6, 2025, Mflow Entertainment officially announced “Knot”, its newest Thai BL drama — and notably, Thailand’s first true Omegaverse story. The project stars the beloved BoatOat duo — Boat Yongyut Termtuo and Oat Pasakorn Sanrattana — reuniting after their hit series My Stubborn.
🌕 A Bold Step After “ABO Desire”
Following the global attention surrounding “ABO Desire,” which introduced many viewers to the Omegaverse concept through its Chinese production, Mflow Entertainment’s “Knot” signals Southeast Asia’s entry into this daring subgenre.
The studio describes “Knot” as a “milestone for the Thai BL industry”, and fans across Asia are already buzzing.
The two-minute teaser, released with the caption:
“Something is about to be tied. The first true Omegaverse in Thailand. A new project by Mflow Entertainment. Coming soon.”
The trailer’s narration sets a haunting tone:
“Alpha hunts with hunger for possession. Omega yields in the shadow of fate. But when love pierces this border — who then bears the mark of the prey?”
🧬 The World of “Knot”: Thailand Enters the Omegaverse
In “Knot,” the story unfolds within the complex social hierarchy of Alpha, Beta, and Omega — a world inspired by primal instinct and forbidden connection.
For those new to the Omegaverse, it’s a genre born from online fiction that explores power, desire, and identity through biological and emotional dynamics. Alphas are dominant, Betas balanced, and Omegas empathetic yet strong — each driven by natural instincts that influence love and control.
While the genre has been explored across Chinese and Korean web dramas, Thailand has never officially produced an Omegaverse series until now — making “Knot” a first of its kind.
💞 The Return of BoatOat — Chemistry Fans Can’t Forget
Fans of Thai BL already know this pairing: Boat Yongyut Termtuo and Oat Pasakorn Sanrattana, affectionately known as BoatOat, are one of the industry’s most adored duos.
- Oat Pasakorn, born February 9, 1995, is a seasoned actor and Thammasat University graduate. With over a decade in entertainment, he’s appeared in My Stubborn (2025), Project S: The Series – SPIKE (2017), Zombie Fighters (2017), and Iron Ladies Roar! (2014). Beyond acting, Oat is an entrepreneur and creative figure in the tech and finance world — making him one of BL’s most multifaceted stars.
- Boat Yongyut, born October 9, 1996, rose to fame through My Secret Love and Secret Admirer. Known for his genuine charm and screen warmth, Boat quickly became a fan-favorite. His chemistry with Oat in My Stubborn won over audiences across Asia, and fans have been begging for a reunion ever since.
Now, “Knot” finally delivers it — this time in a darker, more sensual, and emotionally charged universe.
🎬 Behind the Scenes: Vision and Production
Directed by Korrachanok Bunma and Wanchanaphun Paithun, and executive produced by Kunya Nutdanaiworakarn and Waranluck Phonpawiworakul, “Knot” represents Mflow Entertainment’s most ambitious project to date.
The company’s vision is to combine mystical world-building with emotional realism, bringing the Omegaverse to life in a way that respects its roots while making it accessible for Thai and international audiences.
While the exact release date and streaming platform haven’t been announced yet, Mflow has teased that updates will be revealed “very soon.”
💭 Why “Knot” Could Change BL Forever
“Knot” isn’t just another BL — it’s a genre breakthrough.
By embracing the Omegaverse, Mflow Entertainment joins the growing wave of Asian studios daring to tell more complex, sensual, and emotionally raw stories.
The series also shows how Thailand continues to evolve as a leader in queer storytelling, blending romance, fantasy, and identity in bold new forms.
If “ABO Desire” opened the door for Omegaverse storytelling, “Knot” is about to kick it wide open.
