Chinese actor Xuan Hao and rising star Jerry Loong are officially starring as a primary on-screen couple in Not Yours The Series. Scheduled to air on MCOT HD Channel 9, the upcoming live-action project adapts the highly popular Thai novel Not Yours by author BamBam. The massive production also features a secondary power couple led by Thai star Shogun Paramee and Taiwanese actor Ross Chen Pinyan. Production giants Hong Kong Xinyi and Aplan International Group finalized the major casting pairs over the weekend.

Two Distinct Couples Drive a Complicated Romantic Timeline
The upcoming television drama features a diverse lineup of popular actors building two highly anticipated romantic pairings. Mainstream viewers will recognize Chinese actor Xuan Hao, who recently earned massive global praise for his performance in ABO Desire. Joining him as his direct on-screen partner is fellow rising Chinese star Jerry Loong, whom current fans love in the ongoing series Double Helix. Both lead actors previously gained significant public attention as contestants on the popular survival reality show Boys Planet. Their past screen experience brings established international appeal to this primary pairing.
Furthermore, the production introduces an exciting second couple to round out the main cast storyline. Thai actor Shogun Paramee joins the project following his successful roles in the 2024 drama Deep Night and the ongoing series Payback. Shogun will share the screen directly with Taiwanese actor Ross Chen Pinyan to mark a significant career milestone. Ross previously performed in multiple mainstream, straight Chinese television dramas. Therefore, this project represents his very first acting role within a boys’ love series, acting as the romantic partner to Shogun.

A Dramatic Storyline Explores the Boundaries of Debt and Desire
The narrative of Not Yours The Series promises intense drama, deep emotional conflicts, and a messy love triangle. The main plot follows a vulnerable young man whose life changes overnight. His world shatters after his father accumulates a massive, unpayable financial debt. With no legal or financial alternatives left, the son gives his life over to the primary creditor. He moves directly into the wealthy man’s home to live as his dependent partner.
Over time, this unusual living arrangement sparks unexpected emotional complications. The young man slowly develops genuine romantic feelings for his protector. Everything runs smoothly until the creditor suddenly begins seeing someone completely new. To make matters worse, this new romantic interest is a famous celebrity idol whom the main character has admired for years. Consequently, the core characters must navigate emotional dependence, painful choices, and intense desire.

Official Production Milestones and Network Partners
The creative teams held their official corporate blessing ceremony at the MCOT Rama 9 headquarters in Bangkok. Renowned Thai director Jane Kitt Botsee will co-direct the international series alongside a Chinese counterpart. To ensure high production values, the crew will film the episodic layout primarily at the massive Hengdian World Studios in China.
The network will distribute the episodes via MCOT HD Channel 9 (Channel 30) for domestic television viewers. Furthermore, the production companies will announce official digital streaming applications and localized subtitle schedules later this summer as filming progresses.
