The beloved on-screen pairing of Up Poompat and Poom Phuripan is officially making a comeback. Following their acclaimed chemistry in My Stand-In, the duo will lead the upcoming WeTV Original series, “Love of Silom” (รักแห่งสีลม).
Produced by YYDS Entertainment and WeTV, this 12-episode series is one of the most anticipated projects of 2026. It is scheduled to air every Friday starting April 24, 2026, through July 10, 2026.

The production is in expert hands. Director Pepzi Banchorn Vorasataree is at the helm. Known for her work on KinnPorsche, My Stand-In, and GMMTV’s Sweet Tooth, Good Dentist, Pepzi is a visionary in the BL genre. Furthermore, the screenplay is penned by the renowned writer Violet Rain, promising a narrative with deep emotional resonance and complex character arcs.
The Story: A Collision of Worlds
Love of Silom follows the lives of two men from vastly different backgrounds:
- Krit (Up Poompat): A handsome police officer from a traditional, filial Chinese family. Outwardly, he follows his father’s path into the National Police Bureau. However, Krit hides a secret: he never wanted to be a cop. His family strictly opposes same-sex relationships, leading him to keep his past romances hidden. After being cruelly abandoned by a former boyfriend, Krit becomes cold and emotionally distant.
- Wayu (Poom Phuripan): A student struggling with profound family instability. After his parents neglect him, he takes on the burden of raising his younger sister’s child. To make ends meet, he works at a nightclub.
Their paths cross during a dangerous altercation at the club, where Krit steps in to rescue Wayu. This moment marks the beginning of an unlikely bond. As Wayu begins to admire the stoic officer, he starts visiting the police station frequently. Although Krit is indifferent at first, he eventually becomes Wayu’s source of support during his hardest days.

- Poom Phuripan: A Mahidol University graduate and former “Moon of the University,” Poom has rapidly become a fan favorite. After his breakout success in Mongkut Karma and My Stand-In, he continues to prove his range as an actor. He now manages his own company, Phumi Patsorn 1997.
- Up Poompat : An academic powerhouse who balances his career with his pursuit of a doctorate in political science. Since his viral appearance as a “Chula Cute Boy,” Up has reached massive heights through series like Lovely Writer and My Stand-In.
