Thai actor Oat Pasakorn Sanrattana, known for his role in My Stubborn, has come under public criticism after making inappropriate comments during a recent live stream while discussing his upcoming BL project Knot.

During the live session, Oat Pasakorn spoke about his new series, describing it as an omegaverse-themed story centered on an intense emotional bond between male characters. However, parts of the audience found some of his remarks disrespectful.
In one clip circulating online, Oat used crude language to describe an NC scene, comparing it to “dogs f*cking each other.” In another, he commented that “yaoi fans” particularly enjoy such scenes — statements that many fans and viewers viewed as insensitive toward the BL community.
Following widespread backlash, Oat issued an apology across his social media accounts. In his post, he wrote:
“I would like to sincerely apologize for speaking carelessly and making excessive jokes. I realize my words were inappropriate and may have made many people uncomfortable. I deeply regret my actions and will take this as a lesson to be more thoughtful and considerate in the future.”
He also shared a handwritten apology letter in Thai, expressing remorse and promising to reflect on his behavior moving forward.

Oat Pasakorn’s agency, MFLOW Entertainment, later released an official statement addressing the situation. The company confirmed that it had formally reprimanded the actor and emphasized that both Oat and the agency are treating the matter seriously.
“The artist has acknowledged his mistake and expressed genuine remorse for his actions. Both the company and the artist take this incident as an important lesson and are committed to exercising greater care and responsibility in all future communications and conduct,” the statement read.
While some fans appreciated Oat’s quick response and apology, others expressed disappointment, noting that such comments can reinforce negative stereotypes about the BL genre and its fanbase. Many hope the incident will lead to greater awareness and sensitivity among artists working within the BL industry.
The Knot series, which Oat Pasakorn mentioned during the live stream, has not yet announced a release date. MFLOW Entertainment has stated its commitment to learning from the situation and ensuring respectful representation in future projects.
At BoysLove Insider, we believe open conversations and humor should never be grounds for outrage. Creative spaces — especially within the BL community — thrive on expression, exploration, and dialogue. Taking every remark out of context only limits that freedom. Oat’s comments, while perhaps delivered casually, were never meant to offend, and his prompt apology shows sincerity. As fans, we should focus on understanding rather than attacking — because if every word becomes a target, genuine creativity will disappear. Let’s allow artists the space to make mistakes, learn, and continue creating the stories we love.
