The wait is over for fans of Sky Nani. GMMTV has officially announced premiere date of “Wu The Series” is May 5th. This project marks a highly anticipated reunion for stars Sky Wongravee Nateetorn and Nani Hirunkit Changkham. Following the massive success of their 2024 collaboration, High School Frenemy, expectations for this new venture are running high.
The Supernatural Plot
Director and screenwriter Waa Waasuthep Ketpetch brings a fresh supernatural twist to the genre. The story centers on Pete Jiraphat Phruetchaianan (Nani), an unlucky athlete struggling with financial burdens. His life takes a dark turn when he discovers he carries a fragment of a demon’s soul. Consequently, he gains the ability to sense “Yao”—strange, predatory energies that devour human life force.
His path soon crosses with Niran (Sky), a man gifted with the rare ability to alter fate itself. Niran claims that destiny binds them together through a golden thread. This connection forces the two men into the mysterious world of “Wu.” As they face every obstacle, they must rely on each other. Ultimately, their souls become bound together in a fight for survival.

A Proven Chemistry
Sky and Nani proved their acting range in High School Frenemy, and Wu The Series promises to push them even further. By moving from a high school setting into a fantasy-heavy narrative, the duo allows fans to see a new side of their professional partnership. Their on-screen chemistry remains a major draw for the GMMTV audience.
Meet the Stars: Beyond the Screen
Both actors bring significant depth to their roles, bolstered by their successful careers outside of acting.
Sky Wongravee Nateetorn Sky hails from Ranong and studied Southeast Asian Studies at Thammasat University. He entered the industry through the competitive Hormones: The Next Gen, leading to his debut in Hormones: Season 3. After a long tenure with Nadao Bangkok, he signed with GMMTV in 2023. Beyond acting, Sky showcases strong business acumen. He owns the Bangkok sandwich shop BURNT, and manages the indie clothing brand SOMEWAY SOMEHOW.
Nani Hirunkit Changkham Nani, born in Phayao, rose to prominence after signing with GMMTV in 2020. He made his official acting debut in 2021 with the mega-hit F4 Thailand. Like his co-star, Nani is a multi-talented entrepreneur. He currently manages his independent clothing line, Hannah.
What to Expect
Wu The Series combines high-stakes fantasy with the deep emotional connection fans expect from a bromance. With Waa Waasuthep Ketpetch at the helm, the show promises a unique visual and narrative experience. Fans can tune in on May 5th to see how Sky and Nani navigate the world of fate, demons, and the golden thread that ties them together.
