Toptap Jarukit Kaewmoonrueang and Minlee Thanakorn Wichanukhor are not yet an established pairing and maybe that is exactly what makes them interesting to follow now.
With Payback The Series, they are not continuing an image the audience already knows they are starting from the beginning, with a story that does not introduce them through softness or comfort, but through tension, revenge, and mistrust.
Their duo is still being shaped in front of us, there is no long shared history yet, no fixed image, no clear expectation.
Only a first project, a first dynamic, and the possibility of seeing something grow.
Minlee Thanakorn
Minlee Thanakorn Wichanukhor, also written as Wichanukroh, was born on March 15, 2000.
Before Payback The Series, he was mainly known through his performer background, he appeared in the Korean survival shows Under Nineteen and Boys Planet, before becoming connected to APLAN International and the group A:SIDE.
This gives him a particular presence Minlee does not arrive only as a new actor, he already has experience with performance, stage presence, dance, music, and the pressure of being watched by an audience.
For now, his path is still moving between music, performance, and acting. What makes him interesting is precisely that transition the possibility of seeing how a performer’s energy can become part of his acting.
Toptap Jarukit
Toptap Jarukit Kaewmoonrueang was born on October 2, 2003.
Compared to Minlee, his public profile is still much less documented for many international viewers,Payback The Series may be the first real introduction to him.
Before the series, one of the clearest public traces of his work is the theatre project The House of Mirrors, it gives a first glimpse of his experience as a performer, even if his screen career is still very new.
Because Toptap is still a newer face for many viewers, there is something interesting in discovering him almost at the same time as his first major screen role, his image is not fixed yet and that makes the beginning of his journey easier to watch with curiosity rather than expectation.

Payback The Series: Their First Major Project Together
Payback The Series marks the first major public step for Toptap and Minlee as a duo, but also as lead actors together.
The series is adapted from a Korean webtoon and follows Sun, a man who enters the entertainment industry to take revenge after losing everything because of betrayal. His plan becomes more complicated when he meets Jay, the secret executive director of Dream Entertainment.
Minlee plays Sun, a character marked by loss, anger, and the need to take back control over a life that was broken.
Toptap plays Jay, a more mysterious and controlled figure, connected to power, strategy, and secrets.
What makes Payback The Series interesting for their pairing is its tone.
This is not a soft or easy romance, the story begins with revenge, mistrust, power, and emotional wounds. Sun and Jay’s dynamic is not built on immediate comfort, but on tension and uncertainty.
For a new pairing, this is a very specific kind of beginning they are not introduced through sweetness first, they have to create interest through conflict, distance, and the slow possibility of trust.
Sun carries the pain of what he has lost and Jay carries power, control, and something difficult to read.
Their relationship does not seem to start from a safe place it grows inside something more unstable, where attraction and danger are close to each other.
That is what makes their duo worth watching, especially because everything is still being formed.

A Duo to Follow From the Beginning
Toptap and Minlee are still at the beginning of their shared journey, there are not many projects, interviews, or public moments yet that allow us to fully define their dynamic and maybe it is better that way.
For now, Payback The Series gives us a first look, a first rhythm, a first chemistry, a first idea of what they could become as a duo. Minlee brings a more physical and performance-based energy and Toptap brings a newer, quieter, more mysterious presence.
Together, they do not create an obvious soft pairing they create a tension that still needs to grow, but already gives their dynamic a specific color.
It is too early to say what ToptapMinlee will become but it is not too early to start watching.
Because sometimes, the most interesting moment to follow a pairing is not when everything is already established it’s when everything is just beginning.
