The upcoming Korean BL Thundercloud Rainstorm is officially set to premiere on November 28, 2025, and fans are buzzing after Studio OAK released the first trailer. This drama marks a major moment for Yoon Jisung, former leader of Wanna One, as he takes on one of his darkest and most emotional roles yet.
A Tense Reunion That Sparks a Dangerous Attraction
The story begins at a funeral, where Seo Jeong Han reunites with his long-lost cousin Lee Il Jo. Their relationship has been distant for years. However, everything shifts when Jeong Han notices that Il Jo is struggling financially and emotionally. Out of sympathy, he invites Il Jo to live with him.
But their quiet cohabitation quickly turns complicated.
One reckless moment—a drunk kiss—changes the entire dynamic between them. From then on, jealousy, desire, and unresolved wounds collide. Jeong Han, usually calm and distant, starts losing control as Il Jo becomes the center of his attention and obsession.
A Darker, More Mature Korean BL
Unlike lighter BL romances, Thundercloud Rainstorm dives deep into topics such as trauma, power imbalance, unhealthy attachment, and emotional dependency. As the tension grows, so do the consequences. The series asks a simple question:
Is this love, or is it a storm waiting to break?
